Program One:

The Fundamentals

Introducing The Fundamentals, a one-month program designed to provide clients with a foundation for all-things planning. At Kismet, my goal is to make consulting accessible, and to empower clients with the right tools and resources to achieve success. This program will become a powerful tool in your toolbelt, equipping you with a framework to articulate your vision, set goals and execute on your ideas. Think Fundamentals is for you?   • Every business needs a plan, but not all businesses know how to plan effectively. That’s where Kismet comes in. The Fundamentals Program is designed to give you the confidence to plan strategically, adapt efficiently, and prioritize effectively to achieve your desired results.

    During our sessions, we will:

    • Review the different types of planning and build awareness around the purpose and components of each plan

    • Build awareness of planning fundamentals, such as outcome alignment, planning cycles and current-state assessments

    • Review the core concepts of planning, including how to frame your vision, mission, goals and objectives

    • Discuss prioritization tactics and how to adapt to environmental trends, drivers and evolving business needs

  • You are business startup and/or entrepreneur who wants to build a strong planning foundation that ensures your plan(s), whether it be strategic, business or operational in nature, are set up for success.

    or…

    You are an existing business or entrepreneur looking to sharpen your planning skills and learn about innovative concepts that are shaking up traditional planning conventions.

Program Two:

The Planner

Planning is ubiquitous - that is, it exists at every level of your business to varying degrees of detail. An organization’s strategy is generally executed from the top, whereas operational and business planning are more geared towards management and staff. With so many plans and planning methodologies, the landscape can get a bit daunting, which is why I created The Planner - a program tailored to your planning needs whatever that plan may be.   • Whether you are looking to develop a strategic plan, divisional plan, business or operational plan, this program is for you. Depending on your needs, The Planner can run one-to-three months, and includes elements of The Fundamentals.

    During our facilitated sessions and/or one-on-one calls, we will:

    • Conduct a current-state assessment of your business

    • Assess and plan for complex challenges and initiatives

    • Define and/or refresh your vision, mission, goals, and objectives

    • Set priorities and develop tactical action plans

    • Establish key performance indicators

    • Develop values to help guide your business

    • Develop messaging to support staff communications and engagement

  • You are an organization, business unit or entrepreneur who is looking to develop a new plan to support your new-found business venture

    or…

    You are an existing organization, business unit or entrepreneur looking to refresh your plan(s) to ensure your goals remain relevant and your people are focused on the right priorities and ways of working. 

Program Three:

The Complete Package

There is nothing more frustrating than spending time developing your plan only to see it collect dust on a shelf. At Kismet, I believe in keeping plans alive, and am here to help build the processes and practices your organization needs to realize the full potential of planning. The Complete Package is designed for clients looking for support throughout the planning lifecycle. The program goes beyond services provided in Fundamentals and The Planner to support clients with implementation. Together, we will work to create your plan(s), and support you in achieving your goals through coaching, training and tracking your performance.

  • If you are looking to develop and implement a strategic plan, divisional plan, business or operational plan, this program is for you.

    Depending on your needs, The Complete Package can run three months to a full year - keep in mind that any program can be tailored to fit with your schedule!

    During the program, we will walk through all Fundamental and Planner services, as well as:

    • Implementation planning and quarterly strategy reviews

    • Tactical planning for changes impacting operations, clients, and staff

    • Risk management and mitigation strategies

    • Operational effectiveness frameworks and performance reviews

    • Policy and procedure frameworks to address operational processes

    • Communications and project management support

    • Training and coaching sessions with key planning leads

    • Staff and stakeholder engagement workshops

  • You are an organization or business unit looking for support in developing, measuring, and implementing their plan(s).
